What to Expect During Construction

During construction, residents and businesses may experience some inconveniences typically associated with construction, such as equipment noise, dust, displacement of street parking and temporary road closures.

If you have any questions or concerns about the construction work, please contact the project City Representative, Matt Pi, at (916) 690-6552 or via email at matthewp@csgengr.com.

Traffic Impacts:

During construction work hours, there may be delays, and/or access disruptions, to individual driveways. Alternate access or detours will be provided during temporary road closures.

Due to the nature of the work, construction working hours will be Monday – Friday 7am to 7pm, Saturdays 7am to 7pm, Sundays 8am to 6pm, and 24/7 for a period of 2 weeks. For more information about well construction, see: Well Drilling Construction.

Parking Impacts:

Approximately 10 public parking spaces along with some curbside parking as shown below will be removed (during working and non-working hours) to accommodate the construction work.

Acapella 3

If additional public parking is necessary to be occupied by the construction work, 48-hour notification will be given prior to the start of 24 hour activities. Temporary no-parking signs will be posted three (3) days prior to construction.

Noise Impacts:

Sound impacts of construction are estimated to be approximately 75 decibels, similar to the background noise level of the adjacent Highway 380, measured around 70-80 decibels.
