The existing Pressure Regulating Station located at the intersection of Oakmont Drive and St. Cloud Drive reduces high incoming water pressure to a normal distribution pressure for delivery to homes and schools in the neighborhood. The project includes replacing the existing station with a new one equipped with larger valves to improve fire flows and provide the City with greater flexibility to supply water to a different pressure zone during an emergency. The completion of the project will help ensure reliable water service in the area.
The project was awarded to Casey Construction, Inc. in the amount of $422,540.
