Roadrunner Drilling & Pump Company, Inc. is the contract awarded contractor for Phase 1 of the project. Roadrunner Drilling & Pump Company, Inc. has completed numerous potable well projects for public agencies in the Bay Area including the Cities of Vacaville and Winters, Yolo County, and Sonoma County.
After the completion of Phase I, the City will proceed with the completion of the design of Phase II of the project and seek to procure a contractor to perform the work.
The City has selected Luhdorff & Scalmanini Consulting Engineers to provide professional engineering design services for the Acappella Well Project. Luhorff & Scalmanini Consulting Engineering has substantial design experience on water well projects and has successfully completed similar design projects for San Jose Water Company, San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, City of Mountain View, and many other public water agencies across California.
To increase capacity for delivery projects, the City Council has approved bringing on CSG Engineers to provide comprehensive construction management and inspection support so the City can continue to deliver additional capital improvement projects. City staff will continue to perform overall project oversight.
