Dear San Bruno Library Patrons,
The Library building is currently closed. However, library staff are here to help! Staff are answering phone calls and emails - (650) 616-7078, sbpl@plsinfo.org - Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, excluding holidays, to answer informational questions, assist with library accounts, and issue new library card numbers. The Library offers many online services free to San Bruno Library card holders and links are available on this page. To find out about our virtual programs, please visit appointment.sanbrunolibrary.org and/or sign up for our online newsletter.
The Library bookdrop is open 24 hours per day, seven days a week and we are accepting returns of materials from all Peninsula Library System libraries. Items are checked in on weekdays within 72 hours. Items deposited in the book drop on the weekend will be checked in on the next opening day, within 72 hours from that day. The San Bruno Library is automatically extending due dates on a month-to-month basis for items owned by the San Bruno Library. Items owned by other libraries in the Peninsula Library System will will auto-renew up to five times, as long as no-one else has placed a hold on on those items. No fines will be charged for overdue items during the building closure; however, items will be billed if they are kept beyond the maximum renewals.
For more details on other City facility closures and updates, please visit the City’s website related to COVID-19 developments at sanbruno.ca.gov/Coronavirus.
