On July 26, 2016, the City Council adopted the San Bruno Walk ‘n Bike Plan, the first citywide plan devoted exclusively to walking and biking.
Throughout the process to develop the San Bruno Walk ‘n Bike Plan, the San Bruno community shared comments, inspiring ideas, and great feedback about walking and biking in San Bruno. These ideas were paired with “best practices” for developing safe spaces for people to walk and bike; together, these ideas and practices form the San Bruno Walk ‘n Bike Plan.
The Plan outlines specific improvements to ensure that walking and biking are safe, comfortable, and convenient. The Plan also calls for many support programs and initiatives to encourage more walking and cycling throughout the city.
