|Grab 60 minutes with us for an appointment. This is the Building Inspection Scheduler. Please select a timeslot for each inspection requested. The time slots are the available number of inspections for the day and are on a first come first serve basis. The time slots selected are NOT the exact time the inspector will arrive on site. By requesting a time slot in the AM, you will be assigned an inspection window of 9 AM to 12 PM. By requesting a time slot in the PM, you will be assigned an inspection window of 1 PM to 4 PM. The Building Division works to protect the health, safety, and welfare of residents and visitors by ensuring the physical integrity of buildings and the elimination of nuisance and other violations of the San Bruno Municipal Code.
Beginning on January 1, 2020, the City of San Bruno, Community Development Department is required by State law to enforce the 2019 Edition of California Building Standards Codes (Title 24 of the California Codes of Regulations).
The Building Division is responsible for activities related to the construction, remodeling, and demolition of buildings and structures. The Building Division provides a range of services to ensure a safe, accessible and energy efficient environment throughout our community in compliance with the San Bruno Municipal Code, State and Federal laws.

The operation of any equipment or performance of any outside construction related to a project shall not exceed the noise level and times indicated below. The Police Department enforces construction noise levels.
