The Master Fee Schedule (PDF) lists fees and other charges required to paid by owners and applicants for City services for building permits. This schedule is typically updated every year and a comprehensive update is underway and anticipated for City Council consideration in Fall 2020
Building fees include fees for:
Other inspections and fees
Miscellaneous fees related to building, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing regulations
Other Development Fees
Private development projects are required to pay the processing costs, and other fees required by all City departments including Fire Department, Public Services Department, Wastewater Services, and Water Services. The City has a Development Impact Fee and Affordable Housing Impact Fee that is assessed on development.
Estimates for these other development fees should be obtained only by the Department or Division responsible for these fees.
Estimates are provided as a courtesy and are subject to change with the final fee amount determined at the time the payment is due. Applicants should consult the current Master Fee Schedule (PDF) for fees.
Outside Agency Payments
A building permit may also require payment of fees to outside agencies, such as local school district fees.
