What's New
June 2022
To help mitigate the impact of drought on the State, Governor Newsom signed Executive Order N-7-22, asking water agencies to implement actions consistent with Stage 2 of their Water Shortage Contingency Plans. Many Californians and urban water suppliers have taken bold steps over the years to reduce water use but the severity of the current drought requires additional conservation actions from urban water, residents, and the commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors.
Stage 2 of San Bruno's Water Shortage Contingency Plan asks residents and businesses to reduce potable water use by up to 20 percent compared to 2020. San Bruno water customers can find their water use by visiting the San Bruno Water Portal or by reviewing their billing statements.

Cycles of heavy rainfall and drought are a part of living in California and the City of San Bruno has always and will continue to encourage our residents to use water wisely. At this time, we ask that you voluntarily conserve water, but know that things may change depending on future state mandates. To help San Bruno customers conserve water, we offer water saving giveaways and a robust rebate water saving program.
