Peninsular Plaza Downtown Mixed-Use Project: 406-418 San Mateo Avenue
Proposal to construct a three-story mixed use development with 48 residential condominiums and 14,650 sq. ft. of retail space at the site of the vacant El Camino Theater and 3 adjacent properties (formerly bars) in downtown San Bruno. The following actions have occurred in the development review process:
- June 19, 2008: Neighborhood meeting at the Fireman's Hall in downtown.
- July 10, 2008: Architectural Review Committee reviewed the proposal and forwarded it to the Planning Commission with a positive recommendation.
- September 16, 2008: Planning Commission reviewed the proposal and recommended City Council approval. To view the Planning Commission Staff Report, click HERE.
- The City Council review will take place at an upcoming meeting, which will be publicly noticed at least 10-days in advance.
