The San Bruno Traffic Safety and Parking Commission meets on the 1st Wednesday of each month at San Bruno City Hall located at 567 El Camino Real. Meetings begin at 7 PM. TSPC agendas are posted at San Bruno City Hall and on this web site.

Purpose of TSPC
The Traffic Safety and Parking Committee is tasked with the following duties:

To suggest the most practicable means for coordinating the activities of all officers and agencies of the city responsible for administration or enforcement of traffic regulations;

To assist in the preparation and publication of traffic reports;

To receive complaints regarding traffic matters;

To recommend to the city council and the city traffic engineer methods of improvement of traffic conditions;

To recommend to the city council the designation, establishment, or enactment of any of the following:

One-way streets;
-
Main arterial highway through streets;
-
Intersections at which vehicles are required to stop at one or more entrances thereto;

Railroad grade crossings at which vehicles are required to stop;

Areas in which parking or stopping is prohibited or restricted on streets or portions thereof, or on parking lots;
-
Streets as to which commercial vehicles with gross weight of six thousand pounds or more are restricted;
-
Streets or portions thereof where the maximum speed limit shall be in excess of or less than the speed limit which would otherwise be established by state law, based upon engineering and traffic investigations;
-
The enactment of any other necessary traffic control deemed appropriate.
